So tired of seeing this BS advertising from Samsung. I don't have a S6, but I am pretty darn sure 10 minutes on the wireless charging pad (as depicted in the pic) will never ever give 4hrs of use!! Maybe, just maybe if you plugged the phone directly into the quick charger.....

Did a test:

On wireless (with fast charger) = 6% charged in 10 minutes
On Fast Charger = 15% charged in 10 minutes
On Normal Charger = 11% charged in 10 minutes

Thanks Fanie. I accept that the "up to 4hrs use" is dependant on an infinite amount of variables but the charging rates should be pretty constant and if you repeated those tests you should get similiar % increases time after time.

The fact that they included the wireless charger in the pic is my bugbear. 6% is bugger all charge.

4hrs of standby time probably. 6% could do that... but I understand. Completely misleading. I have long hate relationship with any advert... it's always overselling... especially like car adverts... "only Rxx.xx" but the picture they show is the top of the range model.... pisses me off every time.

Me too, I leave my phone in the wireless charger whole night, takes few hours to charge but charge lasts about an hour more with similar usage during the day

Nice pro tip, thanks. Will try that tonight. Honestly I've been leaving my wireless charger unplugged, so at least this is a real benefit.

I have the glass protecter on the phone the phone in a UAG Folio covered in a Tuff LUV leather omhulsel.

Your post about letting your phone fell literally made my heart skip a few beats....

I just held my phone very very close to my heart and whispered to it how much I love it.
