U tried removing and re-inserting the sim card?

My battery usage was perfectly fine since I got it... Just two days ago at about 4PM I was asked what the battery usage was like, and I checked and replied that I still had more than 60% left and I had used my phone extensively that whole day.
The next day, for no apparent reason, my battery just drained and was depleted by lunch time, without me even using it.

Usage today is similar... Checked what could be draining the battery and my emails weer listed as the only real culprit.

What is strange is that emails were running since day 1.

My battery life just suddenly degraded for no apparent reason.
 
Could it be a virus?
Are our phones prone to getting viruses?

I've found that depending on how I charge the phone (when I put it on charge, how long I leave it on charge) varies the battery life. I can't say which way gives me the best battery life, just that sometimes it drains faster than other times.

Fast charger drains quicker than wireless charger

Also the best battery life is get is with my blackberry charger

I only use the fast charger - overall I really can't complain about the battery life I get from my phone. I guess everyone seems to have a different experience lol.

Try a blackberry charger and then test your already good battery life!

It would be out of this world
 
not sure what the issue was, but Ive made some tweeks and minor adjustments.
Battery life is awesome again.. awesome as in better than the S4 was.

I don't make use of facebook, so uninstalled updates and disabled the app.
Battery usage stated it was mails that was killing me, so instead of instantly getting it, I changed it to once every hour...
I'm on the laptop during the day any ways.

And that was it really.
Since this morning I've only really used 40% and I have been on whatsapp whole day... all the time.
group discussions can get crazy. :D
 
There's an update for the S6 edge, assuming you have the XEU firmware installed. (Not sure about the regular variant.)
