Samsung Galaxy S6

Server maintenance

I saw the warning on their site yesterday and downloaded last night. Did not want to wait until Monday. I see you can get the latest images from http://samsung-updates.com as well, but I do not know how safe that site is and what method they use to flash the roms.

Edit: Never Mind. Soul Assassin to the rescue. :D

Very convenient to have maintenance for non paying members when nougat is being released......

Yes thank you assassin, I was busy downloading at snail speed from another site...

You sure using any other countries won't have a bad influence ?

It's the exact same build directly from Samsung, it's not like your phone will surrender if you look at it funny because you're on a French firmware.

Thx, grabbing it, will install tonight and revert back

I want to install it really bad but because of the not so good signal at my house I'm staying on Marshmallow for the Wi-Fi calling.

Will have to wait for my SP to send out the OTA update.

Just that I'm scared I don't get network locked

network locked? network locked is where phones, like in the US, can only take the carrier SIM on the network it was bought, e.g. Buying a phone from Vodacom, and an MTN SIM doesn't work... network locked phones where banned years ago in this country...

The French one I posted is unbranded, that means it's a direct update from Samsung the same way iPhone users get iOS directly from Apple.

You're just flashing the firmware, you're not changing the bootloader, region or radio unless of course you want to, to receive OTA updates every time one is released in France.

The zip seems damaged, wont extract
