I have this issue,Warranty doesn't cover it drop the phone crack the screen lol and make them change it
 
Have any of you managed to install Android 7 yet?

I want to do it, but I am a little scared.

On Vodafone UK. Colleague of mine also has an S6 on the same network, and hers automatically upgraded last week. Mine simply won't.
 
Hi,Guys I recently pre ordered an S8 via the store...i called in they didn't not confirm nor send me a confirmation...but they said they did it:( so as a pre caution I pre ordered the s8 plus and s8 via the mtn online store,I with like to know if that is cancebale if I don't want it an also that do they have to phone me before they approve the contract!(I do have 3 other contracts with them)?Please help me I'm really stressed out

@S6 Nougat users:
- what is the RAM management like?
- how good is the multitasking now?
 
Howzit guys. I downloaded the XEF version of the firmware a while ago but I didn't ever get around to flashing it. I wanted to do the flash now but I've noticed people having to mess around the files to get the flash to work. Is that only on the CYV firmware, or is it something you need to do with all the versoin 7 firmware?
 
Have you guys also received the new Android 7.0 firmware via the OTA update?

I'm with Telkom and my wife is with Vodacom, and we both received it this week :)

Pretty funky interface, still trying to get used to it. Might try a skin to revert back to the old style.

I had to remove hidden.img from the rom, then the flash worked, and for my trouble Know was tripped. And that meant a lot of problems, things like Samsung health for one doesnt work anymore, and no use for my gear s3 on the phone.

So i went back to 6.01.

My advice, wait for the OTA

I am also with Telkom, but there is no update available on my phone.

Hmm, funny thing is that my phone has a Vodacom ROM on it, because I was originally on Vodacom ... I just ended up porting to Telkom Mobile. Maybe that's a factor, and some of the Vodacom people got the update faster? *shrugs*

Fear not, it is on its way.
 
My daughter just dropped her phone, S6 flat. The screen is gone. Is it worth getting the screen replaced? What will it cost?
