Personally the Note 4 has better signal than my Note 3 had, places in the house that the note had 1 bar cellphone reception..the note 4 gets 3 bars. Same sim, same provider, without any cases.

Possible. But places where my S5 had no problem, but my Note 3 had a problem, the Note 4 has a problem. And before you ask, it's in the schitter.

I'm still on the S5 so by the time for my upgrade it should be the S7...

Only got my S5 now in December. So next upgrade will likely be an S7, or whatever it will be called, by end of 2016.

Quite happy about that, my exynos note 4 is quite a bit more snappier than the snapdragon versions friends and family has. The newer exynos will be even faster

I will be deciding between this and the HTC M9 after owning the S2, S3, S4 and S5.

If there are no major changes I guess I will have to change over to HTC

Hopefully the revised touchwizz is less laggy as well

Contract is due for upgrade in March :D

Don't forget the new look. If the new A-series of phones are anything to go by. I'm quite excited tbh, the first time for a very long time. Contract up for upgrade on the 10th of May!

From Fanie's post:

According to the report, Samsung is aiming to get rid of unnecessary features and simplifying the UI – the company is supposedly aiming at optimizing TouchWiz to such an extent that it would be as fast and smooth as stock Android on the Nexus 6

I hope at least a fair amount of these rumors are true. I hate when false rumors generate a lot of hype and then the actual product disappoints.

But as we all know, the final device only gets leaked about a day or so before the event. Samsung somehow manages to keep the design a secret which Is more than I can say for any apple device. I hope the software this time round is what they promise.

More importantly, I hope they devise a strategy to push out android updates as efficient as apple. Waiting for updates here is the most frustrating thing. If they do manage to scale down touchwiz, we can hopefully see them a lot quicker than before.
