doesn't look like it has changed samsung's mind.

No, and you cannot blame them.

The S6 will be announced soon & the risk is simply too big to go with the 810 chipset.

They can always introduce the chipset later, which they have done with other phones as well.

"The next best bits are a 5.1-inch QHD AMOLED display pushing 577 pixels per inch and a 20 MP OIS camera for snapping Bigfoot in the woods. There's supposedly a 5 MP front-facer for sexy selfie shooting with real-time HDR. A metal and glass unibody encloses the whole shebang and there's a Samsung Pay feature that works with 90% of existing magnetic strip payment terminals."

I can do 5.1 inches :D

This part bothered me:

If these specs are true, the Galaxy S6 will have a 10% smaller battery than the Galaxy S5.

Was the Note 4 battery not smaller than the Note 3? And for me the Note 4 battery outperforms the Note 3 battery. I think with all the optimizations from the Note 4, and the slimmed down TouchWiz, a smaller battery might just be fine.

No that's true, but pi$$es me off, just because the optimization is good doesn't mean they HAVE to make the battery smaller.

I wish they would put extensive research into battery technology and the next race between smartphones / devices will be battery technology.
