That's interesting, my Vodacom S6 says no update is available. Can you please check what version you have Fanie?

Mine shows this:


Now I don't know if Vodacom was already using a newer software version than Telkom, or if they're behind the curve in rolling the update out (the Vodacom version has their logo at start-up so it's not vanilla Samsung).

Last possibility is my phone just automatically installed the update during the initial setup?

Haha, I reckon it's a global Vodafone delay. There is a surprising number of preloaded Vodacom and Vodafone content - right up to the phone starting up with a cheesy red Vodafone wallpaper.

You guys say it's a minor update, so maybe that's why - Vodafone only rolls out major updates globally?

I'm going to see if checking through the PC app (Kies?) finds the update. I know the mobile version sometimes cannot, possibly network locked.

Top tip: sliding the side of your hand from the right side of the screen to the left takes a screenshot Don't think that's new, but it works well!

I have 4 contracts. The number I use is till Vodacom. Still waiting for the one number to be cancelled. Apparently I can port it later.
