I have 4 contracts. The number I use is till Vodacom. Still waiting for the one number to be cancelled. Apparently I can port it later.

Yeah, I'm actually having fun with my Vodacom sim ... it's the first time I'm on Vodacom, and they've actually got reception in my home AND work, while MTN had reception in neither.

Fanie, maybe something you can let us know is whether the S6 is any faster on Telkom Mobile's LTE network. I read somewhere that Telkom Mobile has the fastest implementation of LTE in South Africa. Like my speed test earlier here showed, the best I've gotten is 33Mbps up and 12Mbps down on Vodacom 4G (admittedly only my first speed test in Milnerton, not CPT central which tends to be faster).

Automatic works just fine, lol. AMOLED really pops. Who needs realistic when you can have 'Eye bleed by Samsung' lol?

On that note, you seem to be missing some of the icons in this skin Fanie? Maybe because you already personalised the theme?



PS: You can REALLY tell the difference of AMOLED when comparing how the colours in that screencap look on my S6 compared to my laptop 0.o It looks so faded on PC!

Only problem is I'll never notice the difference, only the person I'm calling might 0.o Does anybody know if a user is notified in any way if this is activated when making a call, or if it's something that Vodacom selects in the background?

Looked amazing on my S4 and was already silky smooth, don't think it will look any better on my S6.

Found a nice little feature of the edge called night clock. It's in the Settings menu under edge.

It lets you display the clock, with next alarm, on the edge of the screen while the screen is turned off. Useful for waking up at night to see what time it is.

It can be scheduled to be active only during specific hours.

Got 15 hours of battery with 4 hours 30min of screen on time on my s6 edge.. I'm impressed. Loving this phone. Took a pic of friends at night without flash and it looks even better than pic with flash, it does an auto night mode. Truly unbelievable camera!

You need your slip or invoice or whatever - they stamp it.

They also ask you to enter your IMEI number. Just type *#06# to display that. Also know your ID number!

Also expect an hour and a half in line at least!
