Apparently an improvement to the fingerprint sensor (which is good because it needed that - I didn't find it quite as accurate as the online reviewers had been raving), and some other unspecified minor changes.

Nothing to rock your world, it seems.

Least my s6 will be fixed by the time I finally get mine from Telkom mobile whenever they feel like giving it :p

I got my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" for R2999 today so keeping myself busy with that :D

I'm actually really happy with this Android update - it might just be me, but I do think it has improved the fingerprint accuracy!

Also for anybody on Vodacom, I noticed that my phone started staying consistently hot after activating Vodacom Protect (powered by McAffee). I uninstalled it, and my phone is running cool again.

It might be that the program was conflicting with Samsung's Knox? Or it might just be the ridiculous amount of WiFi downloading I've been doing to set this phone up right :D I'll be very interested if anybody else has experienced overheating.
 
Got my new contract approved at Telkom this morning. Unfortunately they did not have stock. Will only be ordered on Monday. Hopefully I will get my edge shortly thereafter. Cannot wait. Forgot to ask about the wireless charger. Will I be getting one?
 
Got my S6 Edge from MTN Gatemax today. 128GB unit with charger instead of the 64GB unit. Apparently a launch offer. Loving it so far.
 
Rhp72, you should check Telekom direct in canal walk. I got my s6 (not edge though) there today eith wireless charger and they said they had stock of both ie. If you don't want to wait

I don't understand why yours is taking so long to be approved. I applied for a new contract yesterday morning and by 10am I was walking out with my device

Nah man surely it should be done by now. I have recieved phones over courier quicker than the time youve waited for this... what 3 days now?

2 days since Thursday, technically Friday Afternoon as I had to bring my recent payslip to them, as I had only brought the February one.

The last contract I applied for asked none of that. They just confirmed employment. Asked my salary and off i went.

Phoned the office for confirmation while I was the only person at work lol.

Guess who said yes I work there.

Anyhow.

Hope you get good news in the AM.

Just go and annoy the hell out of them and refuse to leave without your phone.

Thanks I am good at annoying people, used that tactic for my laptop as they wouldn't phone the bank to confirm my EFT and even gave them proof, stood there for 3 hours at Incredible Connection :p.
 
Samsung release their own "inboxing" video of the S6.

The team at Samsung Tomorrow seems bent on taking the jobs of tech bloggers and YouTubers everywhere: following the bend test video and the drop test video, Samsung has now released a sort of reverse teardown/unboxing video showing how a S6 Edge can be assembled by hand.
