Using RAM is fast an efficient. It's what make the phone fast and snappy. The camera opens so quickly due to it being loaded into memory. Android had become very efficient at managing the RAM, so I wouldn't worry about the high usage.

I get that - most of the apps show that they're cached. I still think that the percentage of RAM utilised should drop a lot lower after flushing it.

Can any other S6 owners at least please confirm it's the same for them, so I know it's not some fault with mine?

Mine is the same. Phone is snappy so no worries. If you clear and then go check running you can see it preloaded a whole bunch of apps.

Off-topic, but I remember my first desktop PC with a meaty 256MB of RAM. That thing flew, especially with this program that automatically flushed the RAM.

I guess I just need a change of mindset, where something being constantly utilised won't damage it.

My XT had a 10mb drive. Was the size of the length of the box (front to back), made an awesome doorstop. Who can forget things like Harvard Graphics! Printed banners on my ibm line printer. awesome graphics. Hercules screen which kept my room lit for about an hour after I put the pc and lights off

Go to a different Branch, I guarantee if they have stock u will walk out with the device the same day

I ended up buying the tempered glass protector for the screen.... Impulse buy and a body glove back cover.... I hate covers and normally never use 1 on my devices.... Waiting for a plastic type protector for the back glass
