Perhaps someone can help me. I can not seem to be able to send SMSs to short numbers... such as 31050 or DSTV self-service numbers.... I get an sms just saying 'failed SMS' and nothing else. I use the S6 edge

Network is good because I can SMS others like my contacts. I have tried numerous times in different locations.

Dropped mine yesterday (4th or 5th time since i have it) , cracked the screen... 1st time in 20 years i've managed to crack a cellphone screen ..... Never used either of the ADH's on my S4, now 2 months into owning the S6, i'm using the only one i have ....
Getting a cover once repaired, not gonna chance it cracking again!

Google is an amazing place: https://www.google.co.za/#q=sms+fail+to+send+++short+numbers+++android ... First youtube result fixed it. Apprently my phone was set by default to never allow me to 'send premium SMS'

Not really. I am going to try a new keyboard.
I have to admit, the S5 must be the best phone I have ever used.
Very happy with the S6 but I must just let you all know this

Of course it is more prone to crack. Glass directly exposed to the floor in the edges, which is not the case with the flat

Dropped mine a few times - luckily no cracks yet.

I do have a case thought - so that helps.
