I want to get Choccy the SIII mini.

Is it a good phone? Is planning to get it on CellC contract.

would suggest the Optimus l9 , if you can live without jelly bean , jelly bean will come in next few months.

The specs is bit better and nice 4.7 inch screen

I have the L9 and my gf has the s3 mini ,screen quality is just better on the l9.

The S3 mini is not bad, but the S4 mini will be launched soon, then the S3 mini will go for cheap-cheap.

Should be next month or June, if you're willing to wait.

Some really interesting tradeoffs there between the L9/S3mini. Ditto S3/S2. Also, it seems that Samsung pretty much always ship a/g/n wifi in their kit.
