Samsung i8510 Innov8 software update

Does anyone know when the software update of the above phone will be available? My phone works perfectly - till I load other software on it, then it dies like very quickly. Would love to load Garmin onto it, but it drains the battery too fast!

Other than that, I love this phone. I'm just surprised not many people own this phone?

I am actually thinking of getting this phone or the s8300 or e75 ,still deciding though would like the 5800 but there never seems to be stock of the phone

Mine was very slow....traced the problem to an old 32k simcard...64k now, & fast

Bad vodacom signal lately - Pomona area near Kempton Park

Getting the 128k ncard soon, not too sure of the benefits?

Hi

No, unfortunately there are still no firmware updates. I have taken my phone to Samsung for them to do the firmware update. It is much better now. At least I get about 3 - 4 days of usage. It can still be better with a firmware update though.

No, I don't use it as a modem.

I have also noticed that the vodacom signal has been slow lately. Not sure why though. Enjoy the phone. The photo's it takes is brilliant.
