WTF?? Samsung S2 sucks? You'll get a big hiding!

Samsung makes cool microwave ovens, fridges, TVs and washing machines as well. :p

Just some more feedback. Encoded a DVD with Handbrake in 20 minutes with H264. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Used to take like 3 hours on my old laptop!

it's stories like these that make me feel warm inside. the fact that you install and bam. everything works without needing to install endless drivers upon drivers. one has to give a big hand to the linux kernel developers and their work in getting it to pick up as much hardware as it does.

hopefully it is also hardware manufacturers buying into their linux userbase and providing source code for this to be a possibility.

You always get a black screen. When you start typing your password, the locked screen with the typed characters come up. Unless you're referring to it staying black even when typing.

(Ubuntu 10.04)

edit: That's how it work with my laptop. The screen stay black, then act as stated above.
