I recently got myself the Samsung Level U Bluetooth headset with in-ear headphones. I've always wanted a bluetooth headset but don't like full headphones - I like to be able to leave one out and one in if I'm in meetings or interacting with others without taking the things off. I also think people look doff with full headphones on when mowing the lawn or running :D

This is what they looked like when I got them:

So what do I think of them? The sound is pretty much as good as I've heard on anything. There's a 'headset' mode and a stereo headphones mode. The stereo mode is awesome for tunes and the headset is crystal clear for skype calls etc. It's really easy to pair with phone and PC.

What I don't like - the in ear buds are clunky, heavy and don't fit well. It's a real issue. They do give you two replacement sets of rubber outer - one 'sport' pair that keeps them in your ears better:

...but I still prefer my cheapo wired skullcandy in-ear buds by far...

..so I butchered the headset and made this

I am now totally happy with them. I could probably have ordered some of these instead:

...but then I would have had to wait. Not sure if I'd find those locally. I'm now totally happy with them but would I spend the money again? Probably not - I'd likely look for a similar pair from Skullcandy just because the in-ear buds work so much better. They cut external noise out very well for in-ear buds and the sound quality is awesome.

Interesting, what's the battery life like?

Battery life is really good IMO. I don't game, but use them for meetings and get over 10 hours out of a single charge with full charge only taking 30 minutes to an hour. They also vibrate on incoming calls etc. so not bad at all other than the buds themselves. Poor design let them down.

I have a set of these, and they are brilliant. I wear them throughout the day, and listen to audiobooks in traffic, and charger them about once a week. I tend to like the sporty earpiece attachments.

All in all, fantastic bluetooth earphones.

Ps, where do you change the modes? I didn't even know it had that functionality.

Battery life is pretty damn good for both the Level U and Level On headset.
The controls on either device is also pretty good.

It's available in Windows 10 - right click the speaker icon and select output device. I think skype and calling apps use the regular mode by default and music uses stereo by default.

Have a look out for replacement in-ear buds like the these, I think you'll find they're way superior - you get the full sound benefit and it blocks background noise waayyy better.

The Level On headphones is fantastic for when you are on a plane as well. Just activate noise cancelling and you are sorted.
