What do you all think of this TV, can get it at a good price and really concidering it!

Your opinions are needed!

This will be 3d tv compatible, dont want to spend alot of money and then its not!

I already have the 46" Samsung fullHD and a 42" samsung fullHD, but thinking of adding this to the collection

Want to use the 55" in the main lounge , using it with HDPVR and Bluray, mede8er etc,
then use the old 46" for xbox, wii etc
then move the other 42" into the main bedroom

I would go for full HD plasma if I had the bucks.

Im getting the new 55" for 10K , i think thats pretty good, and its brand new

It's a great TV, full LED backlit TV that is now a generation old, but I would urge to look at the Samsung 63b680, wow.
All depends on how good a deal you can get for the 55...also consider the 50b850 Samsung plasma for R28k...

I asked him if I could collect and he said he doesnt have stock so the manufacturer will ship to us. That would mean that Samsung will be shipping to us. As far as I know Samsung do not ship to consumers so I am not going to take the chance.

It seems that the TV is a US model. I stand to be corrected, but I find that US model Sammys have the second letter in the model number as "N" where in SA, it is "A" or "S". This set retails for about $2500 which is around R20k by multiplying it by 8. A far cry from the R9+ on BoB.

Yep pretty strange. He's still selling all the duvets and ps3's. Its just the LCD that has been deleted.
