Does Samsung have a manufacturing plant in South Africa?

As far as I know Samsung has assembly plants in SA.

I've seen Samsung TV's and monitors which say 'Made in South Africa'.

Hmm I see from a quick Google that the African headquarters is in South Africa but all articles say "had" assembly plants in South Africa.

I found this - dated June 2012:

Samsung Electronics South Africa is proud to announce that the company has started manufacturing all computer monitors, 21 inches and above, locally.

"Manufacturing" - read assembly line from 100% imported components. Better than nothing though...
