I have a 12.2 note pro and over the last 6 months, my battery drains so fast that a few minutes of browsing forces the device to reboot if I don't get to my power bank or charger in time. Also the device reboots when the battery level is between 80-68%. Sometimes when it comes back online, the power is sitting below 20% when it was sitting higher before rebooting.
I looked online and saw that there are others with the same problem I'm experiencing and some resolved it by getting a battery replacement kit and replacing the battery themselves. I want to do the same thing, but it looks like independent vendors have stopped selling these kits or batteries. Samsung's service centre refuses to sell me the battery and insist I book the device in for testing and fitting which will cost me R450 excluding the battery price. When I asked why I had to book the device in the told me it's their policy which doesn't really tell me anything other than that they're just guaranteeing themselves a constant income stream.
Is there a supplier who can help me source the battery please? It's the SM-P905.
