so, perhaps it should be an "average" response of 5ms....then, in a few short months, the monitor guys will take a leaf from the printer cartridge guys and start quoting specs like "most users will experience 16ppm^^^^^3ms response times"

the response times used to be a measure of how long it takes to go from full black to full white....
then "they" changed the specs to say 80% black to 80% white.
now, in 2006, it seems ok to quote response time as being "changing from one shade to another"
