Samsung omnia ... Cracked screen

Hey guys, cracked the screen pn my omnia, and the black "cracks" are getteing bigger by the day, so was just wondering how much it costs to get a new screen for it ? if anyone knows...
 
The HTC rep told me a cracked screen on the diamond would cost 3.5k and isn't covered by the warranty either. Would be interesting to see how a warranty claim with Samsung pans out, keep us posted...
 
i have insurance on my phone ... will they pay ?
 
It depends which screen you are replacing? The plastic/glass cover or the touch screen or the physical screen?
 
Touch-screen phones aren't much use without the screens, are they? :p
 
Did you guys come right with a screen replacement? I have a part of my screen damaged...
 
No idea about Samsung but I got my SE one replaced and it cost about R600 including labour. But then mine is only a partial touch screen not a full touch screen.
 
Omnia LCD is R800 Trade inc. VAT

HTC Touch Diamond LCD is R350 inc. VAT

SE K850 is R180 inc. VAT

You would need to add labour and courier cost to the above of course!

Any LCD with cracked glass is not covered by warranty much like a car windscreen that has been shattered on a new car wouldn't be warranty!
