ok tried the mass storage setting and it did F_all also u can't transfer photo's & vids to 8Gb flash card!! the only options r mms or bluetooth??

could be the cable is kaput!!

so I tried my old x_micro blue tooth dongle that would not work with it's own software without it's software and it finally connected with the phone, so I'm busy transferring all data to pc. looks like it's going to take all night!

will try those codes tomorrow.
