Samsung PBX 7200 with polycoms and Snoms

Hi,

i'm changing my Voip System (hosted pbx). Many people are offering me different systems, different pbx.

I currently have Yealink, Snoms, Polycoms and Siemens devices (all Voip).

Will these devices connect to a Samsung 7200 Voip PBX?

The samsung is an option. I might get an Asterisk or something else...

Any suggestions?

Should you be able to get these phones you mentioned working on a Samsung System (Depends whether it can handle Native SIP) you will have very limited features available as well as different features from the different phones which will be a complete mess.

Depending on the amount of certain phones, I suggest you look at either a Asterisk based system or a Siemens System which was re-branded as UNIFY.

Not sure about Samsung, but those phones certainly will work with Asterisk. Depending on your needs you can also look at Digium's Switchvox. Any reason you have so many different brands? Standardizing certainly helps with troubleshooting and managed deployment.

Any third party VOIP device would work on Samsung 0S7000 series pbx's.

You'll need to get lisences for each device (around R1000 ea,if I recall correctly) making it quite expensive in the end.

The Samsung phones are actually pretty good and cheaper then using a cheapish sip phone and getting the license to run sip for the pbx.
