Samsung printer can't stop printing....

So my clp315 is just a few months old, and wasn't used much till now. Now, when I print one page one page, everything is fine, but when I want to print more than 1 page, the printer just keeps going. a month ago I took it in for repairs, cause it did the same, and smoke came out of it. So they said they just cleaned it. It prints fine, but cant stop.

I checked the print queue, and there was nothing listed there, so is it the printer then?

Sounds like digital diarrhoea.
I got the clp300 and all that I can relate to is when I click print and it doest print, I press again and still nothing so I press again, its gonna print 3 times without the option to cancel any jobs.

So for that month it printed fine? They serviced/cleaned it under warranty? If yes/yes then just send it back again. Happens again then reject it.

Yes it was fine, didn't print much, but it didn't do this tricks. But I'm going to take it back this morning, if it comes back doing the same, I will just demand a new printer. Bought it at incredible.

So I tested it again, and now all is okay. Do you think its printer or pc related?

if it went away after you took it back /service then most likely printer related.

If you will feel happier you could uninstall & reinstall printer & see what happens then.

Would have to guess printer related by the order of events. Maybe intermittent. Keep watching it and return it if it happens again. Does the non-stop printing happen when printing from multiple apps or only from one app?

Well I cant remember what app I used when it happened the first time, but last night I printed pdfs. This morning I printed from word and the same pdfs, and all were okay. So it cant be the applications. But I'll remove and install the driver and give it some time again.
