Samsung S22+ vs Huawei Router - 5G performance compared

Well I'm not so sure about the speed on the S22+.. I just did a 5g speed test now..
25mb/s down and 0.62 up is more like it for vodacom (note the 5g lte at top right)
Also I'm not quite sure how LTE (long term evolution of 3g) quite integrates with 5g..maybr one of you clever guys can elighten me.. Personally, I am inclined to think that 5g in South Africa is a BS story??

Not sure how it works on other phones but for samsung, the 5G icon can mean two things.
1) If it's a see through 5G icon then that means you're connected to LTE but there's 5G coverage nearby
2) If the 5G icon is solid then you're actually connected to a 5G network.

I don't think 5G in south africa is bs (IMO) but opinions on this will vary (Either because we don't use mmWave or some other reasons).
Here's an actual 5G speedtest below on my S21+, also take notice to how the 5G icon looks.

Thanks for the information / knowledge @tm458 much appreciated.
I upgraded from my S9 edge plus which usually had a 4g?? (Whatever that was) LTE download speed of 102mb/s and upload of around 50mb/s at my home at Berea Durban.. And that's why I am pi**Ed off after upgrading to S22+ and now get 36mb/s down and 0.62 mb/s up on (not solid background 5g LTE.. Anyways I'm sure it will pass.. All f**led up like most things in Africa.
