Samsung S5 strange behaviour - fixed - Vodacom issue :mad:

The strangest thing.

Someone calls me, it rings on their side for about 5 rings, does not ring on my side.
On their side, it then changes the ringing tone and only then does it activate on my phone and actually ring.

I called Vodacom, nothing on their side, changed the sim into another phone and it behaves normally.

I cant seem to find settings for this.

Any ideas?

Maybe that vodacom ring tone or whatever it was called before I Un installed it thing?
 
Some vodacom app that allows you to customise the way incoming calls ring sounds to the caller. It looked dodge to me/useless bloat ware so I took it off.
 
Click apps, click the 3 dots top right, click uninstall
 
Turn LTE off and test. This may be the issue. Leave it on 3g only.
 
So Vodacom now say that they have been having issues today with LTE. Seriously cannot wait to be rid of this complete crap network.

How do they not relay this information to their useless call centre agents??? You have to speak to 5 different departments because its not common knowledge at the call centre.
Premium prices for crap service :mad:

So they say they re synchronised my line with LTE and I must wai 1 x hour. Not holding my breath.
 
Is your number ported by any chance. If im not mistaken the change in ringtone means it's switching from one to another network.
