Hi there. Unfortunatley I don't have pictures, but some keys on this phone, the MENU activation button, to be precise, has become reluctant to activate the menu. I have to depress it many times, while sliding the phone a bit, to get it to work. Have googled, but have not found a DIY solution. Bought it from Game, Durban, three years back. It is a sliding phone. This model does not have a reset button, nor does it have a usb cable slot. Does anyone else have or has had this symptom and how were you able to solve it . Thanks !

The flex cable is about to fail, this joins the front of the phone to the back...

If the left side of the cable fails then the top left keys stop working and if the right side fails then the display is affected!

A generic cable is around R80 if you fit it yourself. Requires just a miniature Phillips screwdriver and small soldering iron to do the job.

Thanks !! I did not think someone would respond. Will search for a flex cable in Durban - Thanks.
