So i have an alarm system with this oalarm add on. (i think its paradox?)
Its linked to a security system but everytime we turn the alarm on at night or turn it off in the morning is triggering an alarm at the security companys control room so every morning and every evening they are having to phone me. It does this if we use the keypad, the remote or via the app.

Is there something wrong with my system or is it because the security companys technician wired something up incorrectly when they connected their radio module?

They have also fitted a Sherlo receiver so staff can have a mobile panic button each. Could this affect the system?

Thanks

How are their radio connected?
Most armed response can monitor via olarm too

I think their radio is connected to the actual alarm main board.

I have the same and no problems (can turn it on/off via app, remote or panel). Get your alarm company technician to come have a look. It's been wired incorrectly.

Btw are your zones in Olarm labelled correctly?

I just have 3 zones, labelled
Bar. Kitchen and office.
Thats where the sensor things are.
That's fine. Just wondered if the configuration was downloaded to your app.

Get the tech out, sounds like they wired it to the wrong port.

If you have an olarm, what ever they get you must also get on your app..
I once had a problem, the old radio for the alarm, tx so high that it interfere with other stuff nearby, I moved the radio away from the other stuff.
But as say above , they wired something wrong on a pgm.
The olarm pick up from the alarm system bus.
Radio pick up from pgm's.

I assume Olarm Pro?
Like the Texecom's its talking over the serial port (not a keypad as it did on my DSC).

As others mentioned, it should simply be sending the correct commands to arm, disarm etc - it doesn't use relays and triggers on the alarm panel to do its work.

Some questions:

1. When it triggers your alarm. Is your panel in Alarm or just a signal gets sent to your provider? If the panel is in alarm, which Zone does it say is in alarm?
2. If you arm with your keypad, I assume this doesn't happen?
3. If the panel is in Alarm, is the siren going too?
4. What does your security provider say they got? Panic or Alarm?
