Samsung working on foldable clamshell smartphone

Samsung is planning to launch a new foldable smartphone with a clamshell design, according to Korean news website ETNews.

The device will feature a 6.7-inch display which would fold along the centre, making it far more compact than the manufacturer's current Galaxy Fold smartphone.

I would get one in a heartbeat. There is nothing cooler than getting a call, aggressively (with the right amount of cool though) flipping it open, and say: go! Then when the call ends, you slam it closed against your chest.

It's one of those " We'll do it because we can" there's really no need for this. The galaxy fold on the other hand has a purpose. It's both a smartphone and tablet in a compact form
