Sandisk is the only manufacturer outside of Sony, which makes SxS XD CAM solid state storage for Sony's professional XD CAM camcorders. I would say it's a reputable maker.

Edit: If I install it as my primary drive (which I assume is preferable), I wouldn't need to back up my other drive? It would just be a case of installing windows to the SSD?

Would rather look at an ocz agility/some name I cant remember 4. I have the latter But that is a very good price for 256gb, probably a safe bet.

I would easily trust Sandisk or Transcend for SSD storage... They've been making memory chips for ages

Very little detail on that advert, what model is it?

The Sandisk Extreme SSD has pretty good write-ups, but I does not look like that model, the older outgoing one perhaps?

I would take Sandisk over any one of the other manufacturers mentioned here.
Probably only take an Intel drive in its place.

Sandisk reputation in film/photography memory/drives is exceptional.

Did I mention I have a Sandisk SSD and am in now way biased

It looks like a good price, but be aware its not the extreme drive (SDSSDX-240G-G25) which writes faster.

SanDisk, for some reason is very susceptible to fakes & counterfeits - well on eBay anyway....
My money would be on Intel, however - almost double the price!

Thats what it says. I see on Sandisk site they offer 3 years, but thats region specific, for some reason.
I will register the drives and see what it pumps out on their site, but looks like takealot just offer the 1.
