Sanity Check: GMail Server Error

I've been getting a "Server Error" message trying to get into my GMail account since about 18:45 yesterday [Tuesday]...

I have looked for any other threads about this on MyADSL - nothing - paranoia is starting to set in - it has been hours now - is Usama Laden with a rubbish Bin targetting my GMail account? - the [post=569753]Telkodemonopolies Steve*-Lies™ clones[/post] are too doff to hack my GMail account with its totally random password...

To be sure that the GMail Javascript isn't confused in Fx, I have cleared my browser cache, restarted Fx, but it definitely seems to be a problem at the server end of GMail...I can get to Google.com, just not mail.google.com...:confused:

Am I the only one with this problem???
 
Mine works fine. Just logged in no problem. Have not had any problems with gmail in a really really long time.

Hope you come right soon
 
Seems to be a problem with my primary GMail account - I can login to other GMail accounts without a problem...

I suppose I will just have to wait for the FBI to finish reading my emails arrrgggg...:mad:

Wooopeee I am not the only one with this problem...GMail has nominated me to join a new & hip club :cool: see I can occasionally look at a half empty glass & pretend that it is half full :D.

Common problem: "Server Error"...
 
No problems here. Have you tried using pop and seeing what happens?
 
Eish I just lost my membership to this exclusive club - IOW I have just managed to login into my primary GMail account, I guess the FBI had to spend more time going through all 45765 of my emails in my GMail account :D.

Oh and all emails between 2006-06-20T18:55 and now have been lost - presumably permanently going by what's posted up on that Google Groups link...:(
 
Gmail Trouble

Is anyone elses Gmail giving them hassles. When I try to login it says Ooops *blah* *blah* Try again in a few minutes.
Been trying since 2hr's ago but to no avail.
 
Tried too and it said that Gmail is having some server trouble. Damn!
 
I have a problem that my gmail account isnt auto-forwarding to my blackberry any more.
 
maybe something to do with the New York and/or Cali power cuts? they got stacks of servers everywhere so some of them are bound to have gone offline
 
Possibly the California problems - doubt its NY as the area affected is quite small.
 
Gmail issues

Anyone having Gmail issues today? Not to sure if I am just having connectivity issues or whats happening.
 
*worried look* there are some hectic horror stories out there when you get the "please come back later" error message.

No need to worry - my emails were scanned by the FBI & CIA & NSA and then GWB also decided to bore himself to death reading my emails, and eventually my GMail account was returned to me...:)

Best to go to www.google.com and log out of your Google Account there, which will also log you out of your GMail account, then go to https://mail.google.com/mail/ and attempt logging in again every 15 minutes or so...
 
Had similar problems, solution for me was to make sure about https instead of http . Normal http just didn't work all day for me, changing to https worked. [sometimes it actually works other way around, i.e. changing https to http]
 
Just got back in, but no new mail is arriving, including the several test messages...
