I will never recommend that anyone use L,M,S,O or D for investments.
Do you realise that the JSE ALSI is up 14.6% since 22-6-2017 and the MSCI World Index is up 11.3% since then. The Allan Gray balanced fund is up 8.3% since that date.
You should therefore be very disappointed with a measly 6.8% over that period.
I also hope you realise that risky stock market investments go both up and down sharply in short bursts from time to time. You cannot extrapolate the last few months returns to gauge long term expectations. The next few months can easily see a 10% decline.
As much as I despise Stanlib, I am sure their funds also did quite well since 22-6.
