LIES!! House told us it's all perfect apart from l33t h4xx0rZ that managed to infiltrate the incredibly secure website.

OK let's see what you think when the shoe is on the other foot, I challenge you to publicly publish all of your contact details: private+work cellphone numbers; private+work email addresses; postal and street addresses for snail mail.

Downplaying it. As expected. This is just the start ...

easy, to get, look for house's pin on the etoll system...... he would not mind that information is obtained via enatis and they are exposing it to the world so it is legal for us to go get it.

Ye, you are only breaking the constitution and people civil liberties.

eNatis? this system has already been proven to be flawed, now they trying to get their useless system to work using data from a system that is equally farked up. My wife has not had a car in her name for close on 4 years, yet she got an sms about money outstanding

The entire thing is a glitch.

I fully agree with this. How can a user be "handed over" to a "Violations" centre before a valid VAT invoice was presented to the user? I received an e-mail last night that I owe Sanral R475.17 and must call a number to arrange payment. My son passed under one toll gantry (I know as I checked the GPS track log). I logged into the ghastly e-toll website and went to the page where unregistered users can pay their overdue toll transactions. http://www.sanral.co.za/e-toll/index.php?gort_xml+template~~menu/main~~L1_11838~~ENG
There it says: Make your selection below
I then clicked on : I would like to view my overdue e-toll transactions and a popup informed me This link is currently not available and will be made available at a later stage.

Dear Vusi and Nazir

You tell all and sundry that the system has been ready for implementation for the past two years. I really hope you don't drive on your crowded roads after smoking whatever you do!

I am NOT going to call your "Violations Centre", not now, not today, not next week, not ever.

Like any other creditor you can send me a detailed VAT invoice. I will scrutinise it and inform you about errors. I will then wait for a revised VAT invoice, and will then pay. If there are any disputes I will pay what I belief is correct until you have sent me proof that I am liable for the charges.

There is no system that is foolproof and 100 percent correct.
Agree, but 60% correct is not acceptable.
I used 60% as that is the number of people who I know that got correct bills. 40% wrong billing.
Remember that e-Tolls were meant to launch in April 2011 - the system was up and running for that date.
Plenty of time from 4/2011 to 12/2013 to ensure the system was 98%-99% correct.

I believe this 100%:
1. My 15 year-old son receved an e-mail about overdue toll fees.
2. My 19 year-old daughter received a similar e-mail. She's never had a vehicle registered in her name, and she will never drive her wheelchair on any road in any case.
3. The only member of our family that's been to Gauteng in the last 12 months is my mother. Like most blind people she doesn't drive anyway.

Come and arrest them please. I will retire on the proceeds of the civil law suit that will follow.

But the pass mark is 30 percent...

Can one lay a charge at a police station of harassment or intimidation with regard these sms or emails? or is it someone one should do through a lawyer?
