Sanral offices evacuated, again

Problematic headline. How are we going to know when "again" is "again". Suggest MyBB adds a number like so: Sanral offices evacuated #2

More scary is how ready they are for an attack like this.

This place is a tolls collection agency... yet it has the security and procedures that most government offices don't have.

Not really. They contracted in some very experienced personnel to write their security procedures as they potentially work with large sums of money that need to be kept safe as well as critical systems that need to stay up and running.

What baffles me is the lack of their DR sites kicking in, if an Anthrax scare is to be believed.

Waaa Haaa thats kuk funny. I back u boys all the way, I have seen some of the plans for the eToll in the Cape and the country needs to put their foot down now. Excuse the gooda English LOL

Oh well, Sanral has a huge problem of their own making with their piss poor public relations, threats to the general population and their constant lying.
1) Heads should roll, 2) Rewrite the "e-toll" Business model, 3) seek public acceptance before any further implementations.

like here's some ideas off the top of my head.... since those staff do **** all all day, how about I can go do all my drivers and car licence renewals at their thingamabobs on the sides of the highways? How about using the gantries to deter car theft? How about using them for law enforcement? How about getting lower insurance premiums because the gantries are in place and detering highway usage for car jackers? How about using the gantries to enforce speed limits.. How about asking the public for RFC to get this thing actually running properly and usefully instead? How about replacing Toll road booms with gantries in other provinces that bottleneck the highway?

Unfortunately nothing like this will happen because our ANC guavamunt can't think past their greedy, power hungry, crony mentality.

So the only toxin a white powder could be is anthrax ?
oi... anthrax, where did they pull that out? before they could properly test it? too much tv? (although anthrax not much on tv either recently)... was it written on the envelope "beware: ANTHRAX! I keel yoo" ?

although.... (almost) everybody's forgotten about Anthrax, it could be a novel idea to bring back the old poisons... but seriously?
if you want to disable the system, why pull a stunt like this? It'd be sooo much more fun to go and snipe the cameras and gantry systems!

i'm still also going with the idea that its somebody's drug delivery that was misplaced, and he doesnt want to man up :)

As said before, it's either someone's stash that's now gone or someone at the office is doing it to get time off :D............Where is Eskom and their load shedding when you need them?
