Sanral right about e-tolls?

In August 2013, Sanral reasoned that a majority of e-tagged motorists using Gauteng's e-toll roads would only pay under R100 per month - and it would appear that they were right.

Horse schit. They can't pay their debt if the majority pay under R100 per month. That's simple maths that anyone can do...

I've used the toll road twice and my bill is over R100.

Only 4700 people would pay the flat fee of R450.00. :wtf:

He'll there is more than that many sales reps on the road that would clock that up in no time.

Seriously these numbers don't add up.

R100 p/m? Impossible. That is like driving on the toll road once per week... so what about the other days?

Its a lie. I use the N1 every day and there are way much more than 4700 cars using it. I've only seen a handful of cars with etags. why are they not reporting on thousands of unregistered users?

6 times the rate for untagged users. Can this not be challenged in terms of the CPA?

My current outstanding amount is around R2500 and I only drive through 5 gantries a day. There is no way the average person, if tagged, would end up paying less than R100/month, even if they only went through 1 gantry/direction.

Pay less than R100 pm? If this were true it would be an even more powerful argument for funding the roads with a few cents per litre levy on fuel sold in Gauteng, (similar to the pipeline levy used for years). Don't believe everything you are told, certainly not from SANRAL.
