Sanral stops e-toll summonses

The Sanral board of directors have passed a resolution to suspend the process of pursuing all e-toll debt.

The move comes after an initiative led by President Cyril Ramaphosa regarding the addressing of e-tolls payment issues.

haha all that money wasted obtaining default judgements, when the credit agencies said "screw you we don't care about them"...

Must be heartbreaking working for ETC at the moment.

We keep telling people not to pay. The cowards that they are, they end up paying. I'm glad they got screwed over by paying.
 
You know how easy it is for me to add registration plate capture and a workflow to check eToll balance and adjust cost of fuel upward by R1/litre ? Combo that with debt following ID for vehicle transfers and you pretty much screwed.

My point is one way or another the debt will be paid and if currency and debt repayments go up.. you only screwing yourself

Good, almost like fapping all for my own pleasure. S'longs as I don't have to see a Sanral *spit* invoice I don't care.
Not like any of this have a huge impact on my life, haven't paid in the past, now or will in the future. Thieving cadres can go suck a dinky dock..
