Sansui windows 8" WIB802

Tried to reset my tablet after it filled itself with space since I had not updated it in a couple months.
That failed which bricked the tablet.

Here is how it was fixed.
Have a recovery usb, usb hub dongle and wireless-mousekeyboard etc.

Plug everything in before turning it on.
Turn tab on, press del and F12 to get to Bios.
Go to the right most menu and select something like boot override and you should see "UEFI USB xxx". Select that.
Tablet will reset and show a windows setup/recovery menu.

Select advanced options, reset device and delete everything. It will ask you about re-partitioning. I said yes. It will also ask if you wanna do a simple format or FBI style. Simple is easier, don't be fancy.

Give it 1 hour to work...

This is where I made a boo-boo. It will ask you if you want to reset the TPM , say yes unless you have encrypted items on the drive that you are forcefully erasing :p
I clicked, no which reset the process :(

Click yes and it should be another 30min or so and you tablet should spring back to life. Now you get a newer iso of Win10 to prevent the issue again and update to the latest version while the thing still has space. Busy with this step now.

Depends if they come with Office 365 like last time.... I bought them purely for the 1 year free Office. Buy Tablet, register office, uninstall on tablet reset tablet donate to some kid. Install office on laptop

Yeah, for the Office definitely. But if anyone is buying this for the tablet, you are better off buying a brick at Builders.
I want to buy this for the Office Subscription, But Office 365 is accessible from different devices, so I'm using my work subscription at home and it works 100%, So im rather not going to waste money on this. This tablet is honestly a pos.

Side note, As I understand you can't upgrade to Windows 10 anymore since the new Windows 10 requires 2gb ram.

Don't know where you got that as I have loads of Intel PC sticks (Used as info boards on TV's) in the factories running 1703 with only 1 gig ram.

But I get you, and agree if you buying this for a tablet there is waaay better products on the market. If anything this is ok to give to someone as an E reader.

I remember 32bit required 1gb and 64bit required 2gb ram. But someone somewhere told me this is going to change and both will require 2gb now. I have no idea if he pulled this from his arse.
I recall this thing's battery was just as ****, so if you don’t mind using a E-reader that’s permanently plugged in, this might work.

The actual build quality of the tablet is poor. You are quite literally getting what you pay for. I would only give it to a kid as a present. Other than that I can’t think of a single scenario this tablet would be handy/useful.

For those who do not know, this tablet runs windows, not windows mobile, but actual windows. This sounds great right?, The touch screen is k@k and inaccurate, the screen is to small, if you touch the screen to hard there remains a permanent mark, you permanently have to have the "On-screen Keyboard" turned on, unlike android/IOS/Windows mobile, the keyboard does not automatically pop up when you want to type, so you have to have your keyboard open all the time.
 
I got the one with the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, wasn't to bad with that. What let it down was the storage and not being able to use a SD card as storage and the schlep to upgrade to win 10 I just couldn't get it right.

I upgraded about 4 with ease....

Just used OTG with Win 10 Home single on the USB. Funny enough that reminds me I still have one in my cupboard that I had issues with. For some reason it just kept on bombing out half way with an error. Dumped it back in the box and forgot about it.... maybe I should try again.

Edit: Ok now I am impressed it still turns on after a year in the box.... and thats is about it. Forgot how ****ty the screen was.....

Edit 2: Wow It also kept the time(Almost) and Date?

Did the update bomb out or the tablet stop working?
Bought a few of these but it seems all the CPT stores are out of stock.
As for the actual devices themselves I would like to gift to some kids in the family,only missing 1.
If you dont get it to work i might have to make you an offer :D equality and all that

All the packets where open and tablet has been used as indicated with the fingerprints on the screen so trust me lic is gone.

Eish- please update with the returns process. I was just about to order one for the license..

Can these be loaded with any version of Android? LineageOS or something?
