1st they tell me no they open all the tablets and inspect the screens for damage. That's why it has fingerprints all over it. (And all the packages are open so I guess they use the supplied charger and USB to check each tablet). Then their support trying to tell me I don't know IT cause I have to install Office from internet, and then after install can I activate it for free.
So I pointed out to him the Sticker clearly states you need to activate it within 6 months from Tablet activation and seeing that tablet has already been activated the licence is gone, bye bye.
Anyway, they doing a swap-out via FedEx.

Will this do?
They only have white ones in stock and none that are sealed with Office 365. The tablet itself is not worth the $$ so don't take it.

I'm being extra paranoid this time, going to Clonezilla the whole hdd to usb also just in case tonight before installing Win 10.

one thing i don't understand is why only 1GB of ram won't that make the thing dog slow? Sorry if this has been discussed but I'm to lazy to read the whole thread now. i'm not saying you must have 16-32GB ram bu at least 2GB will be a bit better.

It's a two year old tablet, maybe older.

Skip the key, just say do it later. Once Windows 10 is installed Log into your Microsoft account online it should activate automatically. If that Failes you can Phone Microsoft and tell them you reset your tablet and it doesn't want to activate and do a phone activation.
The tablet has a valid licence on Bios so they not gonna block you.
