SAPS website still vulnerable: hacker

He is right.

Should we not have more security on such vulnerable things such as websites?

Email address have prob already been sold and the rich source of data there makes ID theft, bank scamming and other stuff open for those 16k people. I would recommend to anyone on that list to change mobile phone numbers/emails if possible to reduce being hit by scams/cracking.

The SAPS really need to take this a bit more seriously.

I agree that we need security on our websites. But the way that he exposed it was very wrong.
 
Well if the guys who are suppose to be protecting us are failing to protect themselves from duche bags like Domain, damn we heading for destruction, we need security beefed up for national security websites like these, ;)

No need to sell, they're available free of charge thanks to his efforts.
Thanks also to his efforts, some people won't report crime to the SAPS anymore.

Just show a big media house, they can publish the story and keep the details of the individuals safe. Instead he wants to blow his own trumpet.
 
He will be in for a rude awakening when they do find out who he is...

I am going to assume he is in Australia, and if so we have an extradition treaty with them.

I have a feeling this is a little kiddie who thinks he is all that, but has no idea what kind of stuff he is gotten himself involved in because he has sweet FA idea about the law.

Whatever and whoever it is I just wish it would stop talking so much BS and just go and get hold of the ZUMA SPYTAPES and put a transcript online

Otherwise I am calling FAIL on this so called master "hacker" ( who can only manage the low hanging fruit )

He is not a master hacker..

He is a script kiddie at best, and just happened to find the SAPS webserver had a few vulnerabilities.
