Is the whole purpose of it not to avoid the entire old school banking system and stay off-grid?
I know some people who own as a hedge against inflation.

as a means to an end. Profit.

Couldn't care less if it's gold dollars or crypto.

Where there is volatility there is money to be made and for years if you have a have decent sense crypto is pretty easy to read.

The original purpose was for the old school system not to have control. It wasn't made to be off-grid and in fact is completely open. It has since evolved with more features not traditionally offered but for most people it's only to make money but they prefer to spend that money through the traditional system.

People don't hold any coin for it's actual use. It's only for HODLING and WHEN MOON.

If your crypto is stolen and you need to open a case at the police do you just walk into your local police office or is there a special department. (I know its useless just a requiement from the exchange)
