Would appreciate any input from Mac users.

I’m not tech savvy & spent hours on phone with SARS last year. They ended up emailing the ITA34 PDF , then I uninstalled Adobe acrobat & reader.
- Has anyone here efiled on the new SARS platform with Mac, but without Adobe ? ( I use MB air, Safari on Mojave 10.14.6 ).

Will be grateful for any pointers , thanks.

I was looking at that today actually (my eFiling - as I had forgotten about it until now). My work laptop has Adobe, but I don't think it would be needed, I didn't see it look to be used, except if you want to see the calculation when it needs it to open the PDF. Maybe someone else has more definite answer, if you need help you need to have Flash (I think) installed for the screen sharing thing.

Thanks, yes I can follow most other filing guidelines - was just hopeful that someone here may have filed seamlessly using Safari so I can avoid Adobe re-install.

I struggled with this and switched browsers to Firefox I think.....

That seemed to work.

I did mine this year with Safari and it was a breeze, they have upgraded their e-filling website. Works much better

Thanks for that @jezzad & @travcaine. Will try with Safari.

The SARS lady was very helpful online last year but the system didn't want to behave. Sounds like it's all good now.

Didn't need Adobe, it seems to be all HTML5 this year

^^ Thanks all .
Yes I found SARS new website a big improvement. Filing was a breeze & PDFs printed fine on Safari (no add-ons needed). SMS confirmations were almost instant.
