SARS and moving abroad

Please can you help me.....Wanting to move abroad in about 3 months. Have sold our house and waiting for transfer to come through. please can you advise me correctly in what do I need to do with SARS. I will still have a bank account here. Wanting to transfer sale of house money abroad as well. How do I do that? Thanks guys

There are different criteria if you are emigrating or just temporarily moving abroad. I understand you are not moving out pernamently.

Check for annual limits you can transfer abroad without a need for SARS approval. Your bank manager will give you this information. If you exceed this limit, you have an option to split portion for another year or request SARS permit for the full amount.
