woop!
I'm getting R5.5k
Goes into my travel fund for next year!
Is there anyway to download your full IT34? I can only view what they owe me, but no the full form. ( I am running the latest Adobe PDF DC) but am on firefox an safari on a mac, so i take it that is the issue?
Thanks
No, that is what everyone sees.
So you've checked that you have a 'N' next to your Audit Docs Required on your IT34?
I guess the amount of the rebate also plays a part in how soon you will get the cash
Cannot agree with this guess...I guess the amount of the rebate also plays a part in how soon you will get the cash
Your travel allowance coded under non-taxable travel allowance on your IRP5 is more than R26 400? You are limited to 8 000km at a rate of R3,30 as non taxable. Anything above that is taxable (either the rate or the km's).
Anyone know how to calculate the medical aid portion of your total SARS rebate?
Sites I googled are a bit confusing.

2014/2015
* R514 for taxpayer and 1 dependant
* R172 for additional dependant
So you're probably going to get far less than R3084. You'll only score for medical aid if you've paid out of pocket or have a few dependents...Taxpayers under 65:
- Fixed credit per month of R257 (2015 tax year) per dependent for dependents 1 and 2, and R172 (2015 tax year) for dependents 3, 4, 5 etc PLUS
- IF their medical aid contribution is greater than 4x the above credit, THEN
(that difference + Out of pocket medical expenses)
less an amount equal to 7.5% of your Taxable Income
multiplied by 25% is allowed as a further credit to reduce Tax Payable.

- He paid out of pocket for some medical expenses.My colleague got back R5300, and he's single. What would be the reason that he got almost the same back as me?
