SARS E-Filing 2015

Filed. had to add in two different contributions but getting out less this year :-( but there does seem to be some moola coming my way :-), pity 90% of it is going to CC.

How do you guys know that you are getting something back from SARS before you even do the calculation on their website?

I'm not clued up on these things.

They probably did the calculation on the website, but you can calculate it yourself but why waste time when you can let SARS give you a sure a thing.

after filling in your return, there's a button that you press *calculate*. It will give you the exact amount you will get back

Yep.
Save your work (do NOT submit!!!)
Calculate.
Review your results...

Only submit when you are 100% sure that your input is correct.
 
I owe these bastards R 628.62 this year, and R 411.00 for 2013 which I apparently did not file...
Why TF do I always owe them money?

Did it have a - next to the amount?

If yes, then they owe you. Only if it's positive do you owe them.

It's a positive... I fscking owe them :mad:

The only time that I ever got something from them was in 2011, I got a 4k... I have been owing them ever since.
 
Just submitted the return..lets see how long this takes to get back to me.
 
I'm 100% sure I fill in my details correctly every year, yet my payout seems quite big every time. Wonder what the reason may be.

I rarely get sick so nothing is needed on the medical aid side of things. It's a hospital plan in any case.
I do not have any accounts with anything or anywhere and all I pay for is my car, my house, my food and petrol. That is it. So WTF?

might I add that I have no clue as to how to go about doing my filing and their help desk actually helped me to complete it?

Are you sure they don't owe you money? The minus sign means they owe you, only if it's positive do you owe them.

EDIT: Read your post above. ****. :/ Perhaps your employer didn't pay all your tax or something.
