SARS E-Filing 2015

Still waiting...submitted 04 July 2015 and I haven't even been selected to be audited. FML

I did something similar - previous employer didn't pre-load the IRP5 details - put the certificate number in wrong and then re-submitted with the correct certificate number.

Submitted on the 11th of July - and still I wait.

I did eventually; apparently there was a mistake on my 2011 and 2012 filing (was filed by my previous employer), so I had to resubmit it to SARS.

Funnily enough this wasn't an issue with last year's filing. Weird.

yeah I had a problem with my 2012 filling hence mine also took longer. I really like how helpful their call center agents are

Indeed they are, and very patient to boot.

I'd lose my **** if I had to deal with people like myself every day :p
 
Submitted on the 1st, supporting documents on the 2nd. Have not had any feedback from Sars. Anyone else still waiting on feedback from verification?

Yep - submitted on the 11th of July - still nothing
 
See my e-filing status now is:

"Your Income Tax Return has been assessed and you should receive your Notice of Assessment as an attachment in your eFiling profile within the next two weeks."

So at least something is happening.

What this means is that the second assessment made no adjustment to your first assessment - hence the zero you see in the second assessment. The 2 assessments are meant to be "added up" rather than the second seen as replacing the first...

Same happened to me, paid out fine since 2010 except this year the new system they installed flagged my 2009 submission as missing, which it was. Filed this, and payment was made soon afterwards.
 
Filed on Tuesday morning. it34 issued Tuesday afternoon. Money in my account Wednesday night. No documents needed.
 
I submitted my efiling middle of July somewhere and they owed me some money. I finally phoned them today, since they are usually quite prompt with the payment. The call-centre lady tells me I need to file a return for 2010!

I inform her that I was still a student in 2010, after which she tells me I will need to write an affidavit to that effect and will have to go to a SARS branch to file a zero return. This is just a schlep and I'm wondering why they never mentioned anything in the last 5 years.

Still nothing here - maybe I should call them.

What are the hold times like with the SARS call center at the moment?
 
My wife was doing part-time work in 2010 at a pharmacy. It seems they did not issue an IRP5 for that period and SARS also wants it now.
 
Checked my account and it seemed more inflated than usual. SARS finally came to the party, 35 days later :)
