I got an sms saying penalty notice issued but when I login nothing showing. Will probably have to call the call center.

You need to click on "request penalty statement account" in one of the drop downs in the left.

It would relate to non submission or late submission of a tax return. You can also check on the tax status tab to see where the non compliance is.

You can get penalties reversed or reduced in most instances.
 
I enter my S18A donation values and PBO numbers on the return, but when I press calculate, in the prelim calculation that SARS generates, it keeps showing donations as zero.
Any idea why?

This is one time you can open with IE it worked for me, I was on FF then switched to Chrome then IE worked.
It said I need to update Adobe and then I tried downloading and got I have a newer version so i tried IE and it worked.

I don't have ie I have Edge.
 
Just completed. Getting about R3.2k back (note, not R32K - I wish).

Would of liked more, actually expected more but oh well - it's money I would have never seen had I not filed. :D

Amount of RA contributions rolled over to next year... R15406! I'll get some pretty moola back next with the new 27.5% of income contribution rule...

And now the upload is failing when I try and upload PDF documents.......

EDIT: Supporting documents finally uploaded. That upload facility is real k@k - I remember trying again and again last year to get all my documents uploaded.

Now we wait.......

Not when you get to opening the PDF with your assessment results - I had to switch to Firefox and then select "open with another reader > Adobe DC" before I could see anything. PITA!
 
I have an FNB - Tax-free Cash Deposit account - do I need to declare contributions to this on my return?
