SARS eFiling 2025/2026

I had a similar issue. Eventually, I found an attachment in the email from Sanlam confirming that the transaction conducted last year was complete that contained an IRP5. I was able to do the calculation after uploading the information.

About five minutes later, I received an email requesting me to upload the certificate...

So the IRP5 was never uploaded to SARS eFiling by Sanlam? Liberty's IRP5 is on my eFiling profile, SARS just doesn't like it for some reason, but other than the 'no Lump Sum amount declared' in the message when I try calculate my return, I have no idea what the issue is.

yassss you f-ing bottom feeding scum, you won last year

So I tried last night to pull my request for 2026. Nothing happened. This morning I tried again, and bingo!

Completed it. And the first time in 16 years, not getting audited! ;)

MMMMM ...

I see Tymebank said I earned R65000 of interest, which is totally wrong! So now my crap starts!

GGGRRRR

My SOA shows zero balance so hopefully it's released...
Should be a line item saying electronic refund on your SOA, if so it'll be paid out on that date. It's 72h for the refund to be paid out so if no verification should be coming through tomorrow.

Yeah that line item says 1 August but doubt it's going to take that long, probably just to cover themselves...

I dont have medical aid or RA. So if my company took too little, surely that cant be my responsibility? Last year I did not have this issue. I dont have R6200.00 to pay SARS. My company should be decducting my UIF, PAYE etc....that is not for me to do????
Your employer withholds PAYE for you but it is not their tax burden so unfortunately, you're still liable to pay. If you only have one IRP5 then you must notify your payroll department so they can see where the error is and correct it moving forward but it is your tax burden.
