SARS eFiling 2025/2026

Anyone succesfully cancelled Mybills on your banking app / webiste ? Sars created a few duplicates and a few ones from last year, I could delete some but not all. Sars says bank must remove them and bank says Sars must remove them...
 
So I've just logged in to my efiling to sort out my return but I see I have an auto assessment which is fine but do I still submit this or is it already submitted as I can seem to see the submit button (must have some ANC blood in me or something.....)

Got a notification of correspondence late yesterday afternoon, finally found it on the eFiling website, they want bank statements to prove I paid monthly to OUTA and our armed responses PSS scheme. Another delay tactic to postpone my refund, which is not large at all, around R15k, the bulk of which is due to being unemployed for part of the tax year.

Yep.. I have had to complain yesterday... nearing the end of October and still my audit is not finalized.
EDIT: It was escalated on Friday... and now they're being a d1ck about it, asked for all my documents again.

Spent a good chunk of time on the phone to SARS today
Short version: Accountant stiffed me... (will name and shame later)
Branch appointment on 3 Dec to hopefully get the issues with audit resolved

Do you ever sit back and listen to yourself. Now you accountant stiffed you - Arent you like on the brink of being laid off or something from your regular 9-5 job. How complex can your personal taxes be that you need an accountant to do them - and then you go and get one that screws you over??? Let me guess, the accountant is probably also one of the "stellenbosch boys" you seem to despise so badly.

So, your co workers bully you, your accountant "stiffs" you, your company is about to lay you off, you are depressed, you seem to have serious negative opinions about all sorts of people - especailly afrikaans people, or people who drive BMW's, or people who go on holidays and and and, and yet you still find the time to obsess over trivial nonsense here.

Maybe its time you take a good long look in the mirror and start considering some of your problems are self induced.

The Constitutional Court has declared the Submit button optional. You no longer need to click on that for your submission to be valid.
 
Submitted Tuesday 20th October,
got a sms 23rd October SARS has made payment into my account.
checked this morning and money is in my account.

Same.. And the first time ever that I have not been audited. Maybe after multiple years of providing evidence that their auto assessment is correct they are finally believing me/themselves.
