SARS eFiling 2025/2026

I got a refund this morning... followed by a mail from DealFlow Revenue Collection (PYT) Ltd saying my outstanding amount of R-[amount refunded].

So they are collecting a negative amount that is a couple of cents different from the refund I received.

Maam can you give me protection from yourself

Same thing happened to my partner... some dirty debt collector said "You are getting a refund, pay your debt now"
SARS is either hacked or selling info.
And FYI the debt is BS anyway

I did refresh, no changes. A week? Wtf, is someone manually pressing buttons there to update it?
Employers use easyfile to prepare their recons which generates the IRP5, I assume SARS updates them to efiling in batches so they probably batch once a week or whatever.

Yea seen a lot of scams going around and the scammers are getting smarter, even somehow being sent from sars.gov email addresses. Always confirm amounts owed and payment advice to a efiling SOA.

They're not useless. They're actually pretty good at what they do. South Africans just love to moan.
Lol they’re useless. Still went down, still crappy pdf security bollocks, app that signs you out every time. I could go on and on and on and on.

SARS pulled a nasty. On the day they were supposed to pay me they choose me for verification and documents. Not a problem I had that ready before I submitted. What is the avg wait time for verification so far this year.

These guys have a dashboard.
Being bankrupt as they are, they watch the metric that says how much they have to refund.
When it goes above a certain value, they turn on the selected for audit flag for everyone regardless.

And then they start dragging their feet.
