I submitted on Tuesday and I woke up this morning with the payout made.

Geez, what a pain. Absa doesn't seem to offer a consolidated statement, at least via the online option, so I'm going to have download 12 individual statements (and ofc be charged for every single one).

But, lo and behold, this morning correspondence was issued. Supporting docs submitted. Now the wating game is on.

That's how they roll lately, not the first person I heard this happen to.

A very funny scenario my side. I asked for a correction, but Sars processed the first “submission”. Awaiting a 3rd party data fix.

SARS doesn't seem to want to play nice with non-resident tax returns.
Even though it's a zero return filing, it makes the couple of hundred rand cost worth it to me for an agency to deal with this rubbish on my behalf.

I am waiting on this to be concluded and previously this has moved quickly. Why the delay?

yep same story. Asked for docs what felt for a few hours before they had to pay.

I never had to submit bank statements either but one never knows. Well, you have to download X months of statements where X is when you received income.
