What a pain in the butt...

1. Refuses to recognise my title - have to use Mr.
2. Passwords must contain upper and lowercase letters, a number, AND one of the characters above the number keys.
3. Won't work without Acrobat reader 9 (33.5MB download).
4. Once you've gotten into the system, how on earth do you submit anything?

lol. I also tried resgistering but i think you need a degree in Engineering to figure that system out! Thought it was only me

Well if you are a salary earner and your employer have submitted your IRP5 go to the returns menu, then request return, then check the individual box, enter your reference number and submit. Then it will take about 5days for your return to be loaded.

I'll also agree that it's a pain. No real FAQ. I struggled myself, eventually got it loaded only to find out SARS has not yet released the 2008 source code booklet :/

I too cannot figure out how to use E-Filing. Last week I couldnt get logged in so I requested the password clue etc.......took 4 days to arrive in my inbox. Useless.

Last yr I did it like in half an hour, sent it in on the very last day it could go in, AND got my tax back within 3 working days! pretty cool! Hope it's the same this yr, just hope I get more out! Gadget fever is running high!

Feedback:
Once I set title back to Mr, sorted out the password as mentioned and entered all my details, I got in. Then, after downloading Acrobat Reader 9, I could see my return (AReader 9 has a form filling feature which is necessary. Because of this, you can't use Foxit or any other reader, even if you have the form-filling addons).

1. 90% of the information required to register is already available in the return
2. The first page of the return sets up what you need to fill in. It's amazingly inadequately documented, only when you actually try to file your return do you find out what you need
